Large room with a spacious kitchen made it convenient for meals. The cleanliness of the room stood out, and I appreciated having everything I needed in the kitchen. Fresh towels were provided daily, a pleasant surprise. The furnishings felt dated. The mattress was uncomfortable, leading to a sore neck from lack of support. I also had to deal with noise from the busy main road, especially the train passing by at 5 am, which woke me up early each morning. Despite the room's advantages, I would've preferred better quality bedding and sound insulation for a more restful stay.

No air conditioning made it uncomfortably warm at night!!! Limited wifi allowance felt misleading, especially for a family needing internet!!! A spare toilet roll would have been sensible!!!

We had a 2 bedroom unit and had plenty of space. Large bedrooms, living room and kitchen area. Very nice owner. The living room furniture is showing its age, but that is a minor issue -- overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

The helpfulness and friendliness of the management and staff was fantastic. We travel to N.Z. every 12-18 months to visit family and holiday, next time we have reason to stay in Hokitika we wouldn't even consider enquiring anywhere else, it will be a booking with the Fitzherbert Court without even thinking about it.

This place was just a well-suited match for a couple of nights in Hokitika with excellent value for money. The room was spacious, and the heater helped keep us warm during the chilly nights, really appreciated. Check-in might involve some waiting, so plan accordingly.

Spacious and comfy for families!
We stayed for 2 nights in a one-bedroom apartment. It had plenty of room for us. Staff were super nice when we needed to rearrange the beds. They cleaned our room daily and brought fresh towels. Only downside was the shower pressure wasn't great. Didn't have any dining, but we made meals in the kitchen easily.
